Liverpool full injury list and possible return matches

Liverpool travels to Wolves on Saturday as Premier League returns this week.

The reds going through horrid form this season. Knocked out of FA Cup by Brighton makes life tougher.

Jurgen Klopp’s side’s form has been disastrous this season. They are currently at 9th in the Premier League and face Spanish Giants Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Liverpool have a lengthy list of injuries this season and some players are set to miss important clashes.

LIST OF INJURED PLAYERS FOR LIVERPOOL

Ibrahima Konate – hamstring

The centre-back suffered his issue in the loss at Brighton. Konate is set to be out for 2-3 weeks. 

Potential return match – Real Madrid (H), Tuesday 21 February.

Virgil Van Dijk – hamstring

The Dutchman has missed the past five games for the Reds. Klopp claimed last week that the defender would be out for a couple of more weeks.

Potential return match – Everton (H), Mon 14 Feb or Newcastle (A), Sat 18 Feb.

Diogo Jota – calf

The Striker has been out since October. Klopp revealed last week that Jota is a few weeks away from team training. Player needs time to build up fitness.

Potential return date – Newcastle (A), Sat 18 Feb

Roberto Firmino – calf

The Brazilian was expected to be out for the short term but felt something again.Klopp admitted last week that Firmino was a couple of weeks away from returning to training.

Potential return date – Not Known

Luis Diaz – knee

The winger suffered a setback in his recovery, having been absent since early October. Columbian is expected to miss matches until March.

Potential return date – Not known

Arthur Melo – thigh

The Brazilian played only 13 minutes of football for Liverpool after joining in a loan deal from Juventus. He’s a week or two away from returning to team training but will then need time to build match fitness.
