As per reports, Manchester United are keen on signing Youri Tielemans from Leicester City. The Red Devils are also keen on signing Caglar Soyuncu from the Foxes.

Tielemans who had joined Leicester in 2019, has been an essential part of the team ever since. Under Brendan Rodgers, the Belgian has always held the CM position.

The 24-yrs-old is, however, looking for a move out of Leicester with his contract expiring in June 2023. Various clubs are also linked with the ‘all-action midfielder like Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Current Premier League Standings

Manchester United most eager to sign Tielemans

As a result of a lot of midfield issues under manager Ole Gunnar Solkjaer, the Red Devils were pushing to sign a midfielder in the summer. The club was linked with Saul Niguez and Eduardo Camavinga. However, the late introduction of Cristiano Ronaldo have now postponed their plans.

Utd are now ready to sign a new midfielder next summer with Tielemans on the list. The Belgium international has been on top form for the past few seasons. He is a great provider for both his club and country. The midfielder has the efficiency to contribute in both the team’s attack and defence.

Tielemans has again been in impressive form for the Foxes during the 2021-22 campaign, making 15 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and three assists in the process. FA Cup and Community Shield winner at the club, the Belgian now respectfully wants to leave the King Power Stadium. His exit will be a huge loss to Rodger’s side.

Man Utd are also sneakily chasing Caglar Soyuncu along with Tielemans. The Turkey international is the main man in Leicester’s backline. The Red Devils could leave massive voids in the Foxes’ team if they manage to grab both players.

Meanwhile, both Tielemans and Soyuncu are fully focused at Leicester for the time being, chasing big teams to have a top finish this season.
