Manchester United now seems to be impatient with Paul Pogba as the club has given an ultimatum regarding signing his contract situation. According to reports, United has said Paul Pogba to decide to sign his contract before Christmas. The Frenchman’s current contract is set to expire in June 2022 and is yet to sign the tabled contract with the red devils.
Paul Pogba is a United academy player as he played for the red devils in their under 18 and 21 squads. But the Frenchman wanted some different experience in his career following he signed for Italian giants, Juventus. Pogba’s stay with the old lady was for four years where he established himself as a talented midfielder.
In 2016, Pogba again returned to Manchester United this time being one of their costliest signings of the club. And to date, the Frenchman has gone to appear 215 times for the red devils, scoring 38 goals and 49 assists. But his time at United is seen ending for the second time, following his contract situation.
Paul Pogba is currently contracted until June 2022 with Manchester United and is yet to sign on a contract extension. The club has already tabled an offer for the player for months, but Pogba seems to ignore it. But now, Manchester United have given an ultimatum to Pogba as he has to sign the contract extension before Christmas.
United already knows some clubs are interested in signing the midfielder next summer, as a free agent. But the red devils have plans surrounded Pogba in the future, while his current form is impressive as well. Following this, Manchester United wants to keep the Frenchman for more years. However, it all depends upon Paul Pogba who was to decide on his future in the coming months.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus in line to sign free Paul Pogba
It is no doubt Paul Pogba is one of the talented and unique midfielders of current times, and getting him for free would be a great deal. And hoping to get him for free three top European clubs are keeping tabs on his contract situation. The list includes the names of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Pogba’s former club Juventus.
Real Madrid is keeping tabs on the Frenchman as they plan to replace their ageing midfield duo of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. While PSG despite having one of the greatest transfer windows this summer wants to make it greater next summer. And we all know how Pogba loves his former club Juventus and said he would love to return there in the future.
However, all these three clubs have to wait until Christmas to see what’s their stance regarding signing Paul Pogba. If the Frenchman accepts the tabled £400 weekly offer with United then all hopes are lost for those three. And if Pogba decides to no sign it then there would be a huge competition between those three clubs.
