Manchester United have not given up their pursuit of Ajax winger Antony. The Red Devils made another bid in the last few hours.

Ajax are not willing to part with the Brazilian ace though. They have given Manchester United an exorbitant price if they want to bring Antony to Old Trafford this summer.

Ajax is getting ready for another offer from Manchester United before the transfer market closes, according to 90min. As per the report, the Dutch champions want €92 million (£78 million). However, it is still unclear whether United will agree to their terms.

Additionally, according to The Athletic, United made a bid of €80 million (£67.6 million) for Antony on Wednesday but was rejected. Before the deadline of September 1, Erik ten Hag is looking for reinforcements for his struggling team who have lost their opening two games, and can potentially face defeat against Liverpool as well.

Antony On His Future

When recently asked about the interest, Antony did not give much away. He was quite ambiguous about his future decision.

What I can say is that I want to come to the right decision with my family, business partners and Ajax, which is good for everyone. In the end, God determines my future. Now I am focusing on playing football and have put all other matters in the hands of my agents and my brother. They will advise me on what is best.

The Brazilian also reportedly skipped training in order to force Ajax’s hand and get a move. Should Manchester United not be able to close a deal, fellow Eredivise winger Coady Gakpo is also on their radar.

The PSV winger has impressed recently and has high potential. Either of these teo promising young players can turn out ot be good signings for the Red Devils.
