Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Raphael Varane sealed the deal for Manchester United. This was their last home game this season and they appropriately gave their fans something to cheer after a long time.

The win last night at Old Trafford ended their three game winless run. After Brentford went behind from a goal by Bruno, they did not bow down to United pressure. Erikson cross in the 20th minute was met by Ivan Toney which narrowly flew over the bar.

The Red Devils who had the majority of the possession had them a goal cancelled by VAR which was scored by Ronaldo. He then left no chance to bury the ball past David Raya from the spot-kick. The Bees kept knocking on United’s door. Close to the hour mark, Toney forced a good save from De Gea.

However, after that it was a thoroughfare for United who kept the pressure on the Bees. After which Varane got his first goal for the club and consolidated the lead for his team.

Not a very good performance from the midfielder. He could not improve his performance from his frustrating game against Chelsea.

Made a wonderful run to get Dalot’s pass and cross it to Bruno from which he scored. However, it’s high time that he track back to get the ball from his opponent.

Scored a goal in a long time from Elanga’s assist. However, missed a very good chance from Matic’s pass. Thereafter, did not do much.

He showed what he can still do at this age. He also gave a call to give him more match-time by his performance. Played a fantastic role higher up the pitch.

Another standout performance from the Portugese. Had his goal cancelled by VAR before the half time. However, he got his goal from the penalty spot. Overall, player very well.
