The Premier League fans on Sunday will see a clash of titans as two Reds of England, Manchester United and Liverpool get ready for the face-off. Both the sides come from a narrow victory in their last match in the Champions League and will look to continue the same. The Red Devils defeated Atalanta by 3-2, while Liverpool defeated Atletico with the same scoreline.

But coming to the last Premier League matches of both the sides, Liverpool have a upper hand as they landed a comfortable 5-0 win against Watford. While Manchester United suffered a horrific 4-2 defeat against Leicester City in their last league outing.

But coming to this match all the things will come to square following the rivalry between both the sides which is date years ago. And in this clash of titans, we will provide you with a combined XI, making it easy for you to see the current-in form players of both sides. For deploying the players we will be using 4-3-3 formation as it is mostly used.

Manchester United vs Liverpool- Combined XI (4-3-3)

Goalkeeper

Both Manchester United and Liverpool have top-class goalkeepers as their options with names like David de Gea and Allison Becker. But we can only deploy one goalkeeper and we will choose Allison Becker of Liverpool who seems to be in top-class form. However, David de Gea has also proved important at the back for United saving the side time-to-time.

Defence

At first, we will choose right-back, and without any doubt, we will choose Trent Alexander-Arnold who has been sensational at the right for the Reds. Now, as the center-back pair we would like to have Virgil Van Djik and Harry Maguire. Both are tall and strong at the back which would make any striker fear to get past them.

However, in place of Maguire, we could have chosen Raphael Varane but the Frenchman is currently out suffering injury. In the last we have the left-back spot where Andy Robertson edge past Luke Shaw with his recent performances. It was a tough call as both are in-form left-back.

Midfield

In midfield, at first, we will deal with a holding midfielder spot which should be given to Fabinho. The Brazilian has proved to be a starter in the midfield for Liverpool as the club lost Georginio Wijnaldum this summer. And proving to his role, Fabinho has surely given his best for Jurgen Klopp.

In the right midfield, we will have United’s current best midfielder Bruno Fernandes without any doubt. The Portuguese magnificent passing and long shots are more impressive than we can comment about. Now in left-midfield, we will be having Paul Pogba whose skills and passing are world-class.

Forwards

At last, we only are left deciding with the attacking trio in the upfront and without any doubt, we would deploy Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo in it. As a right-winger, we will deploy Salah who currently is the most in form forward not only in England but in Europe. The Egyptian has already scored 7 goals in the Premier League in his last 8 matches.

Accompanying Salah in the other wing we would deploy Mane whose speed and current scoring form is more than commendable. And at last, we will put Cristiano Ronaldo as the main striker who can turn around a match at any moment. Apart from Ronaldo, we had Roberto Firmino in mind but the Brazilian would not be sad losing to the world’s best.
