They are monitoring the player before making any bids for him. However they are sure to face stiff competition for the the signature of the player. Asensio have been dubbed as ‘magical’ by his former teammate Casemiro. Therefore Arsenal signing him on a free transfer deal is a steal for them. Furthermore the Madrid’s winger also knows how to win trophies. He knows how to be successful, having won 16 trophies during his time with Real Madrid.
