Chelsea’s 1-0 victory came at an important time for the Graham Potter side. The Blues finally managed a hard-earned victory over their London rivals. Chelsea managed to extend their better form against the Eagles over the last few seasons. Kai Havertz scored the only goal that made a difference between the two teams. Along with that, the club introduced their new signing Mykhailo Mudryk at half-time.

He could have easily booked a few assists to his name had those goals been converted. Mason Mount was also very vital for Chelsea for set pieces. It was his shot from the free kick which hit the goalpost and was later converted by Kai Havertz. His performance clearly impressed one of his new teammates, Joao Felix. Moreover the Portuguese commented on Mount’s Instagram post to show his appreciation. This was the first match that Joao Felix had to miss after joining Chelsea on a loan deal. Although he looked extremely exciting up until he played before he was shown a red card in the match against Fulham. The potential attacking line with both Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk is definitely something that excites the fans.

Mason Mount would be looking to continue in his midfielder role. The player looks pretty comfortable in the role behind the attack. Furthermore big games are coming up for the Blues, as they face Liverpool this Saturday. Graham Potter’s side would be hoping to maintain this winning mentality for the rest of the season.
