Matthew Hayden calls MS Dhoni a magical captain

Former Australia player, Matthew Hayden has heaped massive praise on MS Dhoni and has stated that he’s a very magical skipper.

Chennai Super Kings, under MS Dhoni’s able leadership, have already secured their spot for the IPL final.

They are now all set to play Gujarat Titans once again as the latter defeated Mumbai Indians yesterday.

Furthermore, Dhoni is the only Indian skipper to have won all three ICC trophies as India’s captain- T20 World Cup, the Champions Trophy, and the ODI World Cup.

Additionally, he has also led CSK to four IPL title victories in the last 16 years of the tournament.

According to Hayden, Dhoni creates treasure from someone else’s trash and that’s why he is a legend.

Moreover, he has also stated that Dhoni is a very skilled and positive captain for CSK which makes him a popular skipper.

Additionally, the former Aussie player has also commented on Dhoni’s strong association with CSK over the years.

Hayden is in full awe of Dhoni’s captainship and positivity

Furthermore, Hayden has also stated that Dhoni works in a very systematic manner and works things through with the franchise.

However, he also feels that Dhoni may or may not be around for the Yellow Army next year in the IPL.

Says Hayden,

MS is a magician. He takes someone else’s trash and makes them a treasure. He is a very skilful and positive captain. He said something really interesting which I thought summed up not only his humility and his truth around cricket where he is represented and that is in Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.

Adding further, he says,

The alignment between that association and the franchise, how strong that is in terms of building that process. To me that is MS. There is a systematic way of going through things and working through them. He did that for India and he is doing it for Chennai Super Kings. Whether he plays or not next year it is almost irrelevant. Personally, I don’t think he will but then he is MS Dhoni.
