Mentions of Pochettino as Manchester United loook for a new manager

Amidst the whole manager dilemma, some folks at Manchester believe that Pochettino will be a good replacement. The former Spurs coach seems to hold a high value of respect amongst some Man Utd chiefs.

Poch’s popularity only increased immediately after he joined PSG. the 49-yrs-old manager led the team to victory over fierce rivals Marseille in the 2020 Trophee des Champions – the French equivalent of the FA Community Shield. In February, Pochettino masterminded one of PSG’s most memorable European displays, a stunning 4-1 win against FC Barcelona.

However, his PSG contract running until 2023, will make it difficult to prise him away from the Parc des Princes. Meanwhile, Zidane is also in contention to take over Poch’s place.

Former Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte is also in speculation to take the baton from Ole Gunnar.

The Italian manager has won a league title and an Fa Cup with London Giants, Chelsea. Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane is also in the club’s radar, under the recommendations of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Zidane having won two La Liga and three Champions League titles with Real Madrid, will be perfect for Utd’s counterattacking system. However, the Frenchman is not eager to take up a new job and is happily enjoying his break.
