Kylian Mbappe shares a huge transfer update as he demands a scintillating contract, with just months left on his contract at PSG.
The French International remained mum when he was asked about his future during the international break. Mbappe’s future is still uncertain as his contract at PSG expire at the end of the season.
Back in summer, club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi announced that Mbappe has only two-weeks to sign a new contract. However, the 24-year-old still haven’t committed his long-term future at the French Capital.
As things stands, foreign clubs will be eligible to began pre-contract talks with Mbappe over a free transfer at the end of the season. But PSG might want offload him in the winter transfer window to cash-in on their starman.
In a interview with French Publication Telefoot, Mbappe remained reticent on his future. He said :-
“It’s something I don’t want to talk about.
“Especially since I already did it in June and it took up a big part of the international break. I want us to talk more about the national team, rather than me talking about something that will be resolved one day, so there will be time to talk about that.”
As per recent reports in Spanish outlet AS, Mbappe is currently looking for a yearly wage of £35 million after a sign-on fee in a region on £100 million. Clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool might have to pay a hefty amount on his wages alone.
Pochettino stands unclear on reuniting with Mbappe in the paat
In the summer, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino was asked about reuniting with Kylian Mbappe. The Argentine replied :-
“I think in our past we were at Paris Saint Germain and with Kylian and think I need to be conscious that I cannot talk.
“Everything you talk is too much noise. It is a situation that is very delicate and one they need to fix in Paris with Kylian. For our side I have nothing to say. We are working on our reality, our reality is different. From my side, nothing to say, only to supporter them.
“I hope they find a solution for both sides. It is a club that I love, because I was a player, a captain and coach. With Kylian we create a very good relationship, I hope they can find the best solution for both sides.”
Pochettino might enjoyed a healthy relationship with Mbappe at PSG, but it still unclear wheather Chelsea will have finance to sign him.
