Arsenal dressing room was relative ‘down’ when Mikel Arteta walked into the dressing room last night. Arsenal lost their match against Manchester City on Wednesday night. The loss have now turned the tide for the title race. Reports claim that barely anyone was talking when Mikel Arteta returned to the dressing room. The damaging defeat have affected the morals of the players. It is said that Arteta tried to rouse this player. Something similar to this was in the Arsenal: All or Nothing documentary. Furthermore, the manager wants the players to learn from their mistakes. He wants them to learn where they went wrong and improve on it. The team will quickly have to move on from the defeat. Moreover, they have to move on soon as they are heading into the business end of the season.

Mikel Arteta will have to rouse the Arsenal players’ moral

Arsenal have failed to win their last four games now. They have only managed to get one point from their last three Premier League matches. Mikel Arteta have to get to the bottom of it, and understand what went wrong. However, there is still time and it is not too late for them. They can still win the Premier League title as they have one game in hand. But Arsenal will have to be fully prepared and therefore will have to put up their A game. The pressure is only going to get more intense from here on for Arteta’s team. But City will have a greater knowledge of seeing things out as they are still the reigning champions. Arsenal’s new signings Alex Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus of course have the experience of seeing things over the line.

Next up for Mikel Arteta is a match against his predecessor Unai Emery and Aston Villa. Which could be an awkward encounter as to how things ended for Emery at Emirates. The Gunners need a win on the board as soon as possible. A win will only help to boost the morale of the players.
