French defender Mohamed Simakan will be an ideal player for Arsenal if the Gunners try to acquire him in the summer.

As Arsenal return to Champions League after six years, as Arteta is already planning to bolster their squad. The Spaniard has already identified Simaken as one potential targets in the summer.
According to National World YouTube channel, journalist Chris Wheatley gave his verdict on the rumours and said:-
“We know they’re looking at Mohamed Simakan, he’s a player they really do like, he is on the shortlist and Mikel Arteta will try to bring that player in this summer.
“Arsenal are looking for a right-back below the age of 24. They want someone athletic who suits that Premier League, fluid style that Arteta likes to play.”
Simaken has made 35 apperances for RB Liepzig this season and being a defense, he has scored 3 goals and provided eight assists. The French defender ranks of among the top 1% for sucessful take-ons as per 90.
Meanwhile, Simaken has been compared to Arsenal defensive stalwart William Saliba in recent times. The Gunners stopper ranks in the top 8% for passes attempted in 90m. He also maintains a 90% dribble success rate in the Premier League.
Recently former Strasbourg reserve coach Francois Keller termed Simaken as “phenomenon”. Arteta will use all his scouting prowess to bring the 23-year-old in the summer.
