Chelsea are apparently ready to make an improved bid for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo. Reports claim Chelsea are adamant about signing Moises Caicedo this month before the transfer window ends. Furthermore, Chelsea are hoping to sign players who can hold their midfield, as it is something they have struggled with this season. According to reports the Blues are planning on joining the transfer market back. The Blues’ bid for the player was rejected last week. Brighton received a bid of around £55m for the player, which was later rejected by them. The Blues have already signed a few players to strengthen their attack. Signings like Mudryk from Shakhtar, Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid, and Noni Madueke. All these signings are a mix of big-money and loan moves.

Chelsea to bid again for Moises Caicedo

Reports claim Chelsea are planning to make another bid for the player. The Blues are keen on signing Moises Caicedo this month. The Brighton manager have already claimed that he cannot guarantee that the player would stay at the club for the rest of the season. The player might end up joining the Blues if a suitable offer arrives for him. Graham Potter is already very familiar with playing Moises Caicedo. Potter have already played with the player back when he was managing Brighton before joining Chelsea. Graham Potter have previously described Caicedo as a fantastic player. This suggested that he would be more than happy to reunite with his former player.

Chelsea were also linked with Enzo Fernandez earlier in the transfer window. Although they were unable to see the deal go through. This led to Chelsea’s interest in Moises Caicedo. The Blues also signed Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, and David Datro Fofana this month. Caicedo would fit in perfectly in this new young Chelsea team. If the player decides to leave Brighton, the club would definitely feel the loss. They also lost Leandro Trossard to Arsenal this month.
