Mumbai Indians have announced their captain for debut WIPL

Mumbai Indians have appointed Harmanpreet Kaur as the captain of their women’s team for the upcoming Women’s Premier League. Harmanpreet is a well-known and accomplished cricketer who recently achieved the feat of playing 150 T20Is, making her the first cricketer to do so.

Harmanpreet has been a crucial player for the national team for over a decade, having made her debut at the young age of 20. She has a proven track record of winning matches. She also has been recognized for her outstanding performance by being awarded the Arjuna Award.

In addition to her impressive career achievements, Harmanpreet holds the record for the highest individual score in a knockout game in a Women’s World Cup match. Her score of 171* is a testament to her incredible talent and ability to perform under pressure.

Harman has played cricket with Head Coach Charlotte Edwards and has also played with and captained Jhulan Goswami. She has played a significant role in promoting Indian cricket to the world by becoming the first Indian player to play in T20 leagues in different countries.

Now, Harman will be leading a team that includes some of the most well-known women’s cricket players, as well as young players who are eager to show their skills.

Harman has a wealth of experience playing cricket at the highest level. She has played with and against some of the best players in the world. As the captain of the team, she will be able to use her experience and skills to guide and inspire her team to achieve great success.
