NED vs NZ 2nd T20I: Match Preview, Pitch Report, Playing XI, Match Details and Match Prediction.

tennis player

Match Preview:

After losing the first T20I in a close run chase, Netherland would be disappointed by the result but they showed potential and promise all through the match. At one time New Zealand were struggling on 85/4 but Neesham’s 17 balls 32 runs and the cameo of Ish Sodhi helped the visitor to reach a respectable target. Guptill was the highest scorer for the BlackCaps with the score of 45 runs. They have successfully kept their unbeaten record in this Europe Tour.

Netherland gave everything when they came for a run chase, but they just fell 16 runs short to the target of Kiwis. Apart from Bas de Leede who scored 66 runs, no other batsman looked in good nick and this cost them a match and losing wickets on a regular interval didn’t help them either.

Pitch Report:

The second and final match of this series will be played on the second pitch of the Sportpark Westvliet ground. We can expect a closer game and there will be some help for the bowler as the game proceeds that we saw in the first T20I as well.

Probable Playing XI:

Netherland

In the 1st T20I Dutch players gave equal fight to the opposition. That’s why the chances are less that they will go for any change. It will be an unchanged XI.

Probable Playing XI:
Stephan Myburgh, Max O’Dowd, Bas de Leede, Tom Cooper, Scott Edwards (C & WK), Teja Nidamanuru, Logan van Beek, Tim Pringle, Ryan Klein, Shariz Ahmad and Clayton Floyd.

New Zealand

They are having a fantastic europe tour and this is going to be the last match before the Caribbean tour so, they can think of giving rest to the few players.

Probable Playing XI:
Martin Guptill, Finn Allen, Dane Cleaver (WK), Mark Chapman, Glenn Phillips, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner (C), Ish Sodhi, Lockie Ferguson, Ben Sears, Blair Tickner.

Match Prediction:

When Netherland came in the second inning to chase down the target in the 1st T20I, they would have backed themselves for the run chase. But they couldn’t do so in front of the pace attack of the BlackCaps. Whereas Kiwis dominated the whole Europe tour whether it was Ireland or Scotland. They will look to seal the series with a convincing win.
