Oleksandr Zinchenko has been spotted in Orlando wearing Arsenal training kit. The Ukrainian is on the verge of completing a move to the North London club.

The Gunners have reached an agreement on the fee with Manchester City for the 25-year-old. He will now soon reunite with former Citizen assistant coach Mikel Arteta.

The left-back has reportedly agreed a four-year contract with the Gunners. He has also agreed personal terms with Arsenal. The player will also have his medical in a few days. However, there are minor details that need to be sorted out. Although, the minor details will be completed by the time he does his medical. However, the versatile player has already flown to Orlando.

Although, Arsenal are yet to confirm his arrival. But Zinchenko was spotted arriving at the club’s training base while wearing the club’s kit. He was also spotted at the Arsenal friendly with Edu Garcia. Mikel Arteta also confirmed his imminent arrival. He said, “Yeah, as you’ve seen he is here. There are still a few formalities to get everything completed but we’re really happy to have him.’

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola also confirmed his departure. He also confirmed Oleksandr Zinchenko was able to say goodbye to the rest of the squad. Pep said,” It was nice yesterday with Oleks because we could say bye properly. Unfortunately with Raheem and Gabriel, we could not do it because it was the summertime, but with Oleks we had dinner together, we could say bye to him and move on to Arsenal.”

City are set to make a significant profit on Zinchenko. They signed from a Russian club FC Ufa for just 1.8m in the summer of 2016. Zinchenko is now set to leave the club after six years. His six years with City were filled with trophies. He won a total of 11 trophies with the club. The 11 trophies included four Premier League titles and four EFL Cups. However, he only made 10 Premier League starts last season.

Zinchenko will now look to gain regular first-team football at Arsenal under Arteta. He can play either at left-back or in central midfield. The player will potentially make his competitive debut for the Gunners in their Premier League opener away at Crystal Palace on August 5.
