Chelsea could end up signing Eintracht Frankfurt’s manager Oliver Glasner. Chelsea might go for Oliver Glasner if they decide to get rid of Graham Potter. According to reports the Blues chiefs might turn to the German club’s manager. The Frankfurt manager could be the next alternative for Graham Potter if they decide to sack him. While Graham Potter apparently have all the support from the higher-ups, but his job as a manager remains on the line. Furthermore, the manager had a bad run of form with Chelsea in the recent few months. Their recent loss against Fulham was their sixth loss in the last eight games. They have won only two Premier League games since last October. Chelsea are currently sitting 10th in the league table. Fans have now started to lose their patience with Graham Potter after his continuous disastrous run.

Oliver Glasner could be appointed in place of Graham Potter

Due to his failure in gaining league status in recent days, Graham Potter might face sacking sooner than he expected. The Englishman might be heading for the exit door in the summer, or even before that if things remain the same. Boehly might already have a list of alternatives prepared if things turn sour. Graham Potter replaced Thomas Tuchel almost immediately after his dismissal. This proves that the new Chelsea owners will not take much time to replace the manager if the need arises. One such potential manager is Oliver Glasner. Reports claim that Chelsea had already tried to sign the manager last season and may look to make another move this season. Although it is said that Oliver Glasner have no desire to leave Frankfurt as of now.

He is in the race to finish top 4 in the Bundesliga and have a domestic round of 16 fixture coming up. Oliver Glasner will also be looking forward to Frankfurt’s match against Napoli for the Champions League knock-out tie next month. It is very unlikely that the manager would want to swap all that for the pressure felt by Graham Potter. Though fans are still hoping for Graham Potter to make a turnaround and save Chelsea’s season somehow. The Blues have even made some big transfer moves this January window.
