Alpine F1 reserve driver Oscar Piastri is all set to hit the track in the 2022 season in the coming race at Spa or Monza.

After Hungarian GP, we are now headed to Summer break, but off-track news is still showering in.

The seat of Piastri is not yet confirmed for the 2023 season. Nevertheless, the Australian is set to debut in an FP1 session at Spa or Monza after the summer break.

Fernando Alonso left Alpine F1 for the 2023 season as he signed with Aston Martin.

People are now curious to know who will drive alongside Esteban Ocon for the 2023 season. People were eagerly waiting for the news confirming Oscar Piastri as the teammate of the French Driver.

Nevertheless, people were disappointed as Alpine F1 made no official announcement regarding the issue. Rather, Alpine sporting director, Alan Permane revealed that the Australian will be making a track debut in Spa or Monza:

“We’ll see Oscar in our car, either in Spa or Monza for the first time,”

Permane told reporters.

This season, it is necessary to give two Free Practice sessions to a young rookie driver to drive. Piastri is all set to get his seat in Monza or Spa after the summer break.
