Osimhen

Victor Osimhen is under Chelsea’s radar this summer, as the striker refuses to sign a new contract with Napoli, as per reports.

According to 90mins, Osimhen is one the primary targets for the Chelsea this summer. The report also claims that manager Mauricio Pochettino wants the Nigerian at the Stanford Bridge next season.

Now, as per Il Matino reports, Chelsea have recieved the huge boost in pursuit of Osimhen. The Italian News Outlet believes that the 24-year-old current terms expires in the 2025 and he would not sign a new contract with Napoli.

By refusing a new contract, Osimhen plans to leave the club either this summer or in the summer of 2024.

Il Matino states that Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda spoke to Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentiis about the player’s current situation. His agent also revealed that clubs such as Chelsea and PSG have made lucrative offers.

If a huge bid arrives this summer, Napoli will find it difficult to reject it. The Italian outfit are already monitoring Boulaye Dia as a potential replacement for Osimhen.

But Chelsea haven’t just made an offer for Osimhen. Blues are also planning to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer.

According to Gazette dello Sport, Chelsea have also bid for the Serbian striker following a meeting with Italian Giants in London. It is said that Blues will include Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and Trevor Chalobah as part of the deal.

As Rumelu Lukaku keen on permanent exit from the Stanford Bridge, Chelsea will sign a new striker this summer.
