Paul Merson has identified a significant ‘issue’ with a £100,000-per-week Chelsea player

While Mykhailo Mudryk has not always played at his best for Chelsea, recent developments show some promise. On Monday night in the Premier League, Chelsea defeated Fulham 2-0 away from home at Craven Cottage. The victory over Fulham demonstrated how the 22-year-old may be used with Colwill down the left wing.

For the Blues, Mykhailo Mudryk scored in the 18th minute of the London derby. The winger making £100,000 per week had a strong first half. At halftime, Chelsea’s head coach Mauricio Pochettino made the decision to remove Mudryk.

Paul Merson, a former Arsenal player, offered his opinion on Mudryk. The Sky Sports analyst thinks the winger from Ukraine, who is 22 years old, has a problem making decisions. Paul Merson has also said that Mudryk has to take a break since he is working too hard.

Paul Merson posted in SportsKeeda saying

“Chelsea got a major confidence boost against Fulham the other day.”

He further added

“With Mudryk, the problem is decision-making – that’s a significant part of the game that he’s struggling with. I think he’s been trying too hard. He’s got to relax – he is a very good player. The goal against Fulham would’ve done his confidence a world of good.”

Paul Merson believes Chelsea will benefit from Mykhailo Mudryk eventually

Mykhailo Mudryk will ultimately succeed for Chelsea, in Paul Merson’s opinion. After all, Mudryk is just 22 years old at this point. The winger is still improving and expanding as a player.

We are aware of Mauricio Pochettino’s skill as a head coach and as the manager of Chelsea. Young players are developed by the Argentine.

The Chelsea winger Mudryk will be a valuable member of the squad if Pochettino can boost his confidence and he continues to work effectively.
