Manchester City’s manager Pep Guardiola’s last season’s comments on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta are going viral. Arteta has made a brilliant start to the Premier League.

However, last season the Gunners were bottom of the table under Arteta. This also prompted Pep Guardiola to support his former assistant.

THE COMMENTS MADE BY PEP GUARDIOLA ON ARSENAL MANAGER MIKEL ARTETA IN THE LAST SEASON

After the stunning start made by Arsenal, the comments made by Pep Guardiola have gone viral. The Gunners were under pressure last season after a bad start. This made many Gunners fans demand the sacking of their manager Mikel Arteta. However, his former colleague Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola came out supporting him.

Pep Guardiola heaped praise on the qualities of the Arsenal manager. He said,

” Mikel [Arteta] knows everything. He’s so good. It’s not because he’s my friend. I know how he lives, I know what he plans, I know how he works. He’s so clever.“I learn a lot from watching his teams and today I learned something that I can use in the future. He knows everything about football.”

THE COMMENTS MADE BY PEP GUARDIOLA WERE RIGHT

It looks like the comments made by Pep Guardiola were correct. After signing the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, both the players have given Arsenal a flying start to their Premier League season. The Gunners have won five out of six games this season. They were unbeaten this season before losing to Manchester United yesterday,

Despite the loss to United, the future of the Gunners looks bright. The club can now play the ball from defense to attack. They just don’t kick it long without any target. Mikel Arteta has also stopped panic buying in the transfer market like old times. The Gunners have also managed to get rid of fringe players like Lucas Torriera, Ainsley Maitland Niles, and Hector Bellerin.

Mikel Arteta has also managed to integrate William Saliba into the Arsenal squad at the right time. The players and the management staff are united more than ever. The owners and the fans of the club except Mikel Arteta led the club into the Champions League this year.
