Post Match Reactions

Andy Balbirnie, Ireland skipper said that it was never easy for them to come to the ground, do their warm-ups and then get a delayed start. Adding further he said that they were both good and bad, as they faced some quality Indian bowling in favourable conditions. Praised the Indian team and said that they need to be more good than bad against them. Also applauded Tector’s knock and said that he has been in good form of late.

Hardik Pandya, India skipper said that it’s nice to start off the campaign with a win. On Umran Malik, he said that he wanted him to settle down his nerves and felt that Malik was more comfortable with the old ball rather than new.
