Premier League golden boot 2021-22: Potential candidates?

tennis player

Harry Kane has been the most consistent goal scorer in the Premier League over the last half-decade. It is going to be very difficult to outscore him. Harry Kane has been linked with a move to the Ethiad and with Kevin De Bruyne playing alongside him he could score 30+ goals. Are there any other candidates for the Premier League golden boot?

Premier League Golden boot prediction:

Harry Kane is the name that comes on everyone’s lips while talking about Golden boot. Tottenham Hotspur striker scored 23 goals in the 20/21 season. The only real concern about Kane not winning the Golden boot is his injury issues.

Other worthy candidates:

Mohamed Salah finished just behind Harry Kane in the pecking order. It is very difficult for anyone to rule out the Liverpool winger from the race. Liverpool will be looking to put in a stronger fight for the title this season and Salah will be their talisman.

Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes was also in the race for the top scorer spot finishing just behind Salah. the Manchester United midfielder scored an impressive 18 goals last season.

In addition, we could also see Tottenham’s, Heung-min Son. He winger scored whopping 17 goals last season. Certainly, Leeds striker Patrick Bamford isn’t out of the picture. The English striker also netted 17 goals finishing fourth in the race.

Unlikely winner For the Premier League Golden Boot:

During Euro 2020, Raheem Sterling was the standout performer for England. The winger scored only 10 goals last season, but he could find his form back and challenge for the Premier League Golden boot.

Also, the Premier League will see the addition of new players during the transfer window. Ivan Toney the Brentford striker was the top scorer in the Championship scoring 33 goals in the competition. But it would be a fairly optimistic prediction for him to do well in his first season in the Premier League.
