With Game-week 15 of the Premier League done and dusted. We look at some of the best individual performances and the team of the week for Game-week 15.

After several game-weeks of Chelsea’s dominance at the top of the league, we finally have a new league leader. Chelsea suffered a defeat in an exciting 3-2 clash by the hands of West Ham United. While Manchester City won 3-1 against Watford and rise to the top of the Premier League table.

Divock Origi came off the bench to score late on and rescue the 3 points for Liverpool against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Tottenham Hotspur won 3-0 against Norwich City in what was a quite comfortable clash for Spurs. Newcastle United finally got their first win of the Premier League season as they beat Burnley by 1-0.

Life under Ralf Rangnick began quite well for Manchester United as they saw off Crystal Palace with a 1-0 win. Manchester United dominated for the whole game and deserved the three points. Everton beat Arsenal in the last match of the game-week. Everton made a fantastic comeback after going 1-0 down and ended their run of three consecutive losses.

Team of the Week

Defense

Daniel Bachmann

Despite conceding 3 goals, he saved Watford from embarrassment. Bachmann looked the star man for Watford. The goal-keeper made nine saves that included eight from inside the box.

Matty Cash

Not the only member of the Aston Villa backline to make the team of the week. The Right back’s work rate was incredible. Cash made nine tackles, five interceptions and created two chances for his teammates.

Ezri Konsa

The Centre-half had a big part in the 3-1 victory over Leicester City. Konsa scored 2 goals against Leicester. This was the most goals anyone scored in Game-week 15. On top of that, he made 3 interceptions.

Davinson Sanchez

Sanchez looked under confidence at the start of the game and grew into the game. He scored the 2nd goal for his side and won three aerial duals and made four tackles.

Arthur Masuaku

Not the only contender for the Left-back position in the team of the week. Alex Telles was also brilliant in the win over Crystal Palace. But Masuaku’s winner against Chelsea is enough to warrant a place in the team. He came off the bench at the stroke of half-time. The left-back scored the winner and made 5 tackles in the match.

Midfield

Fred

Fred looked impressive in the Centre of the park for Manchester United. The Brazilian midfielder won 7 tackles and completed 5 long balls in the match. The cherry on top has to be the exceptional goal that gave United the 3 points.

Bernardo Silva

Silva is arguably the best player in the Premier League right now. He was on top form again against Watford. The Portuguese winger scored 2 goals. On top of that, he made three tackles and completed two dribbles.

Mason Mount

Mason Mount looked exceptional in the Chelsea attack despite the 3-2 loss. The Attacking midfielder ended the game with one goal and one assist. He also created four chances for his team-mates.

Attack

Jarrod Bowen

Bowen also ended the game with one goal and one assist but was on the winning side with West Ham. He constantly kept finding pockets of space and was a constant threat for the Chelsea backline. Bowen could have ended the game with 2 goals but couldn’t convert from a Michail Antonio cross.

Divock Origi

Divock Origi once again scored one of his famous off the bench goals. He came on when the game with the game locked at 0-0. But he scored a brilliant 94th-minute goal to give Liverpool the three points and the win.

Heung Min Son

Son was a constant threat going forward for the Norwich defense. Just like Bowen and Mount, Son also ended the game with one goal and one assist. The winger once again looked razor-sharp.
