The 2021/22 Premier League season is about to start in two weeks. The Premier League transfer market closes on Aug 31. All the clubs have a lot of time before they make their team even stronger. We have already seen some big names moving to the Premier League Ibrahima Konate, Jadon Sancho, and Raphael Varane sealing their move to the league.

Meanwhile, most of the other clubs are yet to make their moves in the market. What are the potential movements in the market?

ARSENAL:

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been keen to get the club back to the top. After missing out on European places last season Arsenal have been determined to make some major signings.

Incomings:

Arsenal have signed the English centre back Ben White from Brighton for around £50m.

Gunners have also bought in Nuno Tavares and Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga. They don’t look like first-team acquisitions but are decent signings in the longer run.

Links:

Meanwhile, midfielder Granit Xhaka has held talks with AS Roma over a proposed £15m, but nothing has been finalized yet. A backup goalkeeper to Bernd Leno is also needed, with Sheffield United’s Aaron Ramsdale being linked. The club are also in the market for a creative midfielder and James Maddison and Martin Odegaard are the prime targets.

Also, reports have been coming out of Itlay that Arsenal are interested in signing Lautaro Martínez from Inter.

LIVERPOOL:

Liverpool have secured a move for French defender Konate with midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum leaving for Paris Saint Germain. Also, Ozan Kabak has returned to Schalke following the end of his six-month loan deal.

Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri, and goalkeeper Loris Karius could all leave for the right offer. As The Reds look to fund a move for Wijnaldum’s replacement and could bring in Saul Niguez.

MANCHESTER CITY:

The Champions have only signed one player this summer and that is their third-choice keeper Scott Carson. The Citizens are busy plotting a move for Harry Kane and Jack Grealish. City have raised some money by offloading Angelino, Jack Harrison, Lukas Nmecha, Eric Garcia, and the club legend Sergio Aguero.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports have been suggesting that City have submitted a £100m transfer bid for England midfielder and it is expected to be accepted by Aston Villa.

MANCHESTER UNITED:

The Red Devils have been way ahead of all the clubs in the Premier League transfer market so far. They have managed to sign Jadon Sancho, Varane, and Tom Heaton.

Meanwhile, United are still pursuing Atletico Madrid and England full-back Kieran Trippier. The Red Devils are also interested in signing Leon Goretzka, on a free transfer next summer. United could end up raising around £100m from outgoings from the departures of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, and Andreas Pereira.

TOTTENHAM:

Tottenham have secured a deal for winger Bryan Gil from Sevilla for £21.6m in a player-plus-cash deal with Erik Lamela.

Meanwhile, Juan Foyth and Toby Alderweireld have left the club and now they are desperate to sign a center back. Also, Tottenham have laid all the steps to sign Atlanta defender Romero.
