RAIN LIKE CONDITIONS ON SEP 1O

India to face their long-standing rivals Pakistan for the Super Four stage of Asia Cup on September 10th Sunday. The R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo is the venue to host the eagerly anticipated cliffhanger. However, the rain god is likely to shower us with the identical result as that of the previous face-off between the nations. The probability of rain-like conditions are high as there is a 90% chance of precipitation with a cloudy sky. In addition, the humidity will most likely reach 81%. While the wind flow will be at the rate of 20 km/hr.

Previously, when the nations met each other for the group stage clash, the match got shelved due to endless rain. The spectators at Pallekele International Stadium had to witness merely the 1st innings. Rain-like conditions are likely more towards the latter half of the evening. As per ‘BBC Weather’ the predictions are of a 47% chance of precipitation during the afternoon, which will eventually increase as time passes.

If there is an interference in the game due to rain-like conditions, the game will resume on September 11th. For the unknown, the Asian Cricket Council(ACC) received approval from all four nations engaging in the Super Four stage for the allocation of a reserve day for the Ind vs. Pak contest.

As per reports, the match official will most probably extend the game by 90 minutes on the match day. However, if the match gets shelved due to bad weather, the reserve day will play its role. The contest will resume from where it had put an end to.
