Real Madrid are eager on buying Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig and they are ready to offer £100m for the Centre-back.
As per Spanish Outlet Fichajes, Josko Gvardiol is one of the top targets for the Los Blancos, next season. Real are ready to offer £100 million for the Croatian Defender. But Gvardiol is also getting interested from other top clubs, Chelsea have inquired Leipzig about as the defender.
Josko Gvardiol has become a complete player since joining RB Leipzig from Dinamo Zagreb. The 21-year-old has established himself as one of the top defenders in the Bundesliga. The Croatian has also shown great temperament in last year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Croatian international has made 74 appearances for RB Leipzig, scoring four goals and four assists, so far. Gvardiol’s progress has caught the eye of various top clubs in Europe but Real Madrid and Chelsea have emerged as favorites.
Real’s veteran defender, Nacho might leave the club in the summer as talks over his new contract is not progressing well. The Spanish Giants will find a suitable replacement for the Spaniard in the next transfer window. Whereas David Alaba is above 30 and will get slow in the coming years.
Thus, Josko Gvardiol has emerged as a possible target for Real and reports suggest, they are the front-runner to sign him. Due to this, Real Madrid are ready to offer £100 million for the young defender. But Spanish Giants will face tough competition from other top clubs in Europe.
Chelsea are also interested in Gvardiol and will be eager to sign a new Centre back in the summer. That is because Kalidou Koulibaly has not made an impact since joining the club from Napoli last year. But it’s unclear that Chelsea will match Real Madrid’s price tag.
