Reece James is back in training with the full Chelsea first-team

Reece James have joined back the Chelsea first-team training after his knee injury. He missed out on the World Cup squad due to his knee injury. The player had even expressed his disappointment after the injury as he was left out of the squad. Reece James traveled to Abu Dhabi where he was able to train with some of his Chelsea mates. Now Chelsea are back from Abu Dhabi, and it’s time for Reece James to fully emerge himself in training on home soil. Premier League resumes on Boxing Day after the World Cup. It is a massive bonus to the Chelsea team as Reece James is set to return. As Chelsea have struggled this season to find a consistent footing this season.

Reece James is back with the full Chelsea team for training

Reece James had traveled with the rest of the Chelsea group to Abu Dhabi for training. Though not much was known about his recovery at that time. Now the defender have uploaded some pictures of his return to training. He further wrote in the caption,

“It’s been a while but back like we never left’ captioned the 23-year-old, who has been overcoming a knee injury since the middle of October.”

Chelsea have struggled this season with his injury. The club had to face the same problem last season as well when Reece James was on the sidelines due to an injury. His return to the team surely have fans and his teammates excited. Two of his younger teammates left comments on his post showing their happiness on his return. The duo Carney Chukwuemeka and Omari Hutchinson had nearly similar things to say.

Chukwuemeka commented ‘my brother’ while Hutchinson went for calling him, ‘my big bro’. Despite James himself being fairly young, many young players look up to him. He is already proving to be a senior figure at the club. The Blues’ fans cannot wait to see him back in action again.
