Reporter claims that Arsenal interested in signing Brazilian winger

Sky Sports Reporter Dharmesh Seth claims Arsenal are still interested in bringing new signings in the remainder of the transfer window.

Gunners have been very busy in this summer transfer window so far. They’ve recruited Chelsea forward Kai Havertz for £65 million last month. Recently Arsenal signed Ajax defender Jurrien Timber for £38.5 million and West Ham midfielder Declan Rice for a club record of £105 million.

Spending over £200 million so far this window, Manager Mikel Arteta still claimed that club could sign more players. The Spaniard told SkySports:-

“Let’s see. There is a lot of time still in the market and expectations with some of our players, so we will have to see how things develop in the next couple of weeks.

“We will be alert. There is still time to do things. There is still time for exits obviously, so I am sure things will move.”

Reporter Dharmesh Seth claims that Arsenal are interested in signing an attacker this summer. Gunners are currently monitoring Brazilian winger Raphinha and Bayern Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby. He said:-

“I’ve just been told to keep an eye on the attacking side of the pitch, particularly on the right side as well.

“Remember a couple of summers ago they tried to sign Raphinha (last summer) – he ended up going to Barcelona.

“They’re also interested in Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen. I know Villa have had a bid rejected for him as well, so that may be an area just to keep an eye on.

“It would require now a few departures and money to be recouped because after Havertz, Rice and Timber they’ve gone through £200million in this transfer window.”

Still lot can happen in this transfer window and everyone’s eye will be on Arsenal.
