Harmanpreet on the Captaincy role

Harmanpreet statement:

” Ever since I started playing cricket, responsibility is something I have enjoyed. Leading the team is my biggest responsibility, and I am enjoying that. The coach, support staff, teammates, and BCCI are appreciating, and we all are working together. When you work as a team, you can achieve good results. I am getting all the backing, and the focus has been on performance. I have told the teammates that they have my backing, and they need to go and express themselves.”

Harmanpreet Kaur is in good touch with the bat too. She has scored 658 runs in her last 13 ODI’s at an average of 73.13. Recently she scored a century even. She led Indian Women for Commonwealth Games 2022 where the team secured the silver medal. Recently Indian team led by her clean swept the England Women by 3-0 in the ODI series. This proves her leadership skills and also speaks a lot about her management. She neither let the captaincy pressure to hinder her batting performance. She kept on performing whenever the team needed her and also leads from the front.
