Richarlison is open to a move to Chelsea in the summer, as claimed by the Brazilian outlet UOL.
The Brazilian has been a crucial player for the Toffees in the past four seasons. He is now setting his aims higher and is seeking a big challenge somewhere else. Chelsea is in dire need of a new finisher and Richarlison has the potential to be the missing piece in Thomas Tuchel’s team
Real Madrid is also interested in the 25-year-old striker. But he is unlikely to sign for Los Blancos as his main aim is to play for the Brazilian National Team. A move to Chelsea is likely to improve his chances of World Cup selection.
Chelsea had trouble keeping up with the Liverpool and Manchester City because of their lack of quality in finishers.
Chelsea showed a lot of promise in the initial stages of the league but failed to live up to the promise in the latter half of the campaign due to a lack of quality finishers.
Mason Mount was the top scorer in the league with 11 goals, followed by Kai Havertz and Romelu Lukaku each scoring 8 goals. The strikers have underperformed severely and Thomas Tuchel could be eyeing a change in the attacking setup.
Lukaku has been linked with a return to Inter Milan on loan. Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech could also be leaving Stamford Bridge. Thomas Tuchel could be looking to reinforce the attack of Chelsea. But defence remains a priority due to two major transfers in the form of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen in central defence.
If the blues manage to recoup their funds they could look for a change in the attack. Richarlison could be a good option for this change. His 10 goals for Everton came at crucial moments. He was a key player for Everton to help them avoid relegation.
