Rohit and Virat getting out early was good for India: Salman Butt


Former Pakistani batter Salman Butt talked about the India-Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup. However, the match was washed out due to persistent rain in Kandy. India batting first made 266 runs in 49.2 overs.

Salman Butt praised Indian middle order for their fightback. Notably, India found themselves in a difficult situation at 66-4. Salman Butt says,

I was saying earlier that apart from 2-3 players, there’s a lack of experience when it comes to such intense pressure games (in the Indian team). They took them to a respectable total,”

However, Pakistan and India will meet again on September 10. After the first game, fans of both the teams felt their team would have won. Now, in the Super 4’s it will be interesting to see which team comes on out.

Indian top-order will see this as their shot at redemption. Although, Pakistani bowlers will be looking to repeat their good performance.
