Cristiano Ronaldo could make a possible exit from the Allianz, amidst links with a Manchester United return.

Juventus are known to be working on a potential exit. The 36-year-old has spent three years in Turin after leaving Real Madrid in 2018. He has now entered the final year of his contract.

As per La Repubblica, Ronaldo and Juventus feel it may be time to go their separate ways. The multiple Ballon d’Or winners was a massive signing for them a few years back. However, they need to offload Ronaldo to help balance their books.

Multiple suitors gather

Manchester United are on alert after Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo began working on a separation plan. Both parties have mutually agreed to facilitate his transfer away from the Serie A club.

Ronaldo previously enjoyed a hugely successful spell with Manchester United before leaving in a then-world-record transfer to Real Madrid. The Red Devils have signed Jadon Sancho and secured Edinson Cavani for another year.

However, the chance to ‘re-Unite’ with Ronaldo would be the stuff of dreams for the Old Trafford faithful.

The Portuguese’s £30,600,000 annual salary has caused problems for Juventus financially, particularly during the pandemic. Any suitor for Ronaldo would have to commit to his huge wages. However, at 36, he is showing little sign of slowing down.

Elsewhere, Carlo Ancelotti would also like to bring Ronaldo back to Real Madrid. There has also been speculation that PSG are in the running. He could partner up with Ballon d’Or rival Lionel Messi.

A more surprising route for Ronaldo would be back to Manchester – Manchester City. Reportedly, he has been offered to the Premier League champions. An update on his price tag depicts £26,000,000, an absolute bargain. That is the lowest fee Juventus could accept without loss.
