Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek says he is loving his new life at AC Milan after his Chelsea exit. The player describes his life as “incredible” at his new club. Moreover, he is also throwing a little shade at his former club with his comments. The midfielder has been speaking to Corriere dello Sport about life at his new club after joining Milan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek left Stamford Bridge for a €16m deal back in July. Furthermore, he was among the long release list of Chelsea players who Todd Boehly and co. sold. It concluded an end of Loftus-Cheek with Chelsea for over a decade. He joined as a youngster in 2012 and played at youth levels. He got a chance to play in the senior team in 2015.

Besides his loan spells with Fulham and Crystal Palace, Loftus-Cheek registered a total of 155 appearances at Stamford Bridge over the years. Though, his career has been a rollercoaster ride of injuries and limited his impact that could have been made. With Chelsea signed Lavia and Moises Caicedo, it became a very difficult job for him to make his place in the squad.

Since his move to San Siro, the midfielder has been enjoying his life and game at the club. He played all but one match and has established himself as a key player for the club. Ruben Loftus-Cheek said,

“It’s incredible, I look around and I’m still amazed by the size of the stadium, by its history.”

“I look at all this, I think I can play here every week and God knows for how long, so I’m really happy about it all.

“It’s incredible to have such support despite such a bad result in the championship.”
