Sachin Tendulkar and PM Modi met each other at the foundation stone event of the Varanasi International Cricket Stadium. Moreover, the legendary cricketer was captured giving an Indian team jersey to the honorable Prime minister.

SACHIN TENDULKAR AND PM MODI AT AN EVENT

The foundation stone event of a new international stadium took place in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Sachin Tendulkar was one of the attendees at the event. Moreover, a videotape of Sachin Tendulkar and PM Modi is going viral all over social media. In the video, Sachin Tendulkar can be seen giving an Indian jersey to the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also graced the event and was present on the stage with Sachin Tendulkar and PM Modi.

Furthermore, apart from Sachin Tendulkar, other former Indian cricketers, Ravi Shastri, Dilip Vengsarkar, and Sunil Gavaskar also attended the foundation stone event. Apart from the Indian cricketers, BCCI President Roger Binny, Vice President Rajiv Shukla, and Secretary Jay Shah also attended the event. As per reports, the UP government has spent INR 121 crore to obtain the land for the new international stadium. In addition, as per reports, BCCI will lay out INR 330 crore for the construction of the Varanasi International Stadium.

The Varanasi International Cricket Stadium will be based on the Lord Shiva theme. The Varanasi stadium will represent its roots. The roof of the covers will be of crescent-shaped lord Shiva moon. In addition, the seating arrangement will be like the steps of Ganga Ghat. Furthermore, the stadium dome will be like Trishul, the entrance gate design will be like Belpatra, and flood lights will be like Damru. It will be the third international stadium of Uttar Pradesh after Lucknow and Kanpur’s stadiums. As per reports, the stadium is will get ready by December 2025.
