Sanju Samson to be a part of ODI squad against South Africa, Ganguly confirms

BCCI President Saurav Ganguly confirmed that Sanju Samson will be a part of the ODI series against South Africa. The ODI series will start from 6th October to 11 October. The three one-day internationals are scheduled for October 6, 9, and 11 at Lucknow, Ranchi, and Delhi, respectively.
Sanju Samson was unlucky to miss the T20 World Cup squad in Australia. However, this was good news for Sanju Samson and his fans. The fans were enraged after the talented right-handed batsman was dropped from the world cup squad.
But this is a massive opportunity for Sanju Samson to cement his place in the Indian side. As the senior players are flying to Australia, this is a very good opportunity for Sanju and other youngsters. To add a feather to his cap, he might also be handed the role of vice-captaincy.

Samson captained the side to a 3-0 whitewash over New Zealand A. He was consistent with the bat scoring a fifty and a 30 not out. Thus, he will play a crucial role in the upcoming ODI series against South Africa.
