New Zealand and Scotland will now be facing each other today for the 2nd T20I. New Zealand won the first T20I by a margin of 68 runs after they scored a mammoth 225 runs against Scotland. Finn Allen scored his maiden international T20I ton while Martin Guptill and James Neesham too played contributory roles.
Scotland did not have any answers to New Zealand’s bowling attack. However, George Munsey and Calum MacLeod did stitch a 62 runs partnership. But with Ish Sodhi taking four wickets for just 28 runs, Scotland looked completely out of the picture.
For today’s match, both teams will not be making any changes today to their squads and Scotland would like to level the series today. But, most probably New Zealand will be taking home the series as they are the more dominant team in the contest.
