Mohammed Shami trolls Harsha Bhogle in the innings-break interview. Shami recorded a five-wicket haul in the first ODI match against Australia. While Mohammed Shami only played one match of the Asia Cup 2023, he was part of the squad in the 1st ODI between India and Australia. Moreover, the pacer delivered his career-best figures of 5/10 in 10 overs with an economy of 5.10.

MOHAMMED SHAMI AND HARSHA BHOGLE FUN CHAT

India won the first ODI against the Australian team by five wickets and eight balls left. Talking of the 1st ODI, Indian skipper Kl Rahul won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Australian side came in to bat and concluded with a decent target of 277. In reply, the Indian team started the innings with a bang. Two young opening batsmen, Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad, started off the 2nd innings showcasing their class in batting. Eventually, India won the match, and Mohammed Shami was declared the Player of the Match.

After the majestic stint, Mohammed Shami got involved in a hilarious chatter with commentator Harsha Bhogle. In the innings break, Mohammed Shami was called in for an interview, and the fun banter between him and Harsha Bhogle is going viral. Harsha Bhogle asked Mohammed Shami if the humidity in Mohali concerns his body.

Harsha Bhogle asked-Were you feeling the heat today?

To which, Mohammed Shami replied- yes probably, because you guys are sitting in the AC boxes, we were on the ground (laughs).

Surya Kumar Yadav’s cameo in the 1st ODI between India and Australia was crucial for the Indian team. In addition, he smashed a half-century off 49 balls. Earlier to the match head coach Rahul Dravid defended the selection of SKY for the upcoming World Cup.
