English businessman Simon Jordan predicts Chelsea’s Premier League title hope after Blues struggling with form currently.

Jordan suggests Chelsea will win the title under Todd Boehly, but not under Mauricio Pochettino’s guidance. However, Blues are currently far away from the top-four in this current campaign.

Injuries and ownership change at the club have significantly affected Chelsea’s form in overall. With spending £1 billion since arrival Todd Boehly’s ownership and Clearlake Capital, more funds would be provided in the next transfer window to sign a new striker at Stanford Bridge.

Chelsea are currently underperforming than their rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Liverpool currently. But Jordan suggests that Blues will improve soon but not under Mauricio Pochettino.

Simon Jordan discussed the matter and said on talkSPORT :-

“They have spent a lot of money.

“This is one of the downsides of spending a lot of money and not having the football intelligence by paying way too much money for players. But there is no doubt about it, Chelsea will get there, it’s just about how quickly they get there and whether Mauricio Pochettino is going to take them [there].

“I’ve never felt that Mauricio Pochettino will win them the Premier League. I thought that he would get them to a point where they could operate in the top four, but that’s not Chelsea’s blueprint. Right now at this moment in time, that argument looks unsustainable because they’re not anywhere near where we thought they’d be. But the bottom line is that Chelsea will get there, believe me they will get there.

“Chelsea will win the league under Todd Boehly before the next 2/3 years.”

With all the fund in their hand, Chelsea will look to targets Brentford’s Ivan Toney and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen in January window.
