Frank Lampard

There is some buzz around Chelsea dressing room after Frank Lampard took charge as interim manager, according to reports.

Lampard returned to Stanford Bridge earlier this month as interim manager until end of the season. This will allow Blues to find a suitable replacement for next term.

However, it’s not been a good start since Lampard returned to his old club. Chelsea lost against both Real Madrid and Wolverhampton Wanderers so far and they will host Brighton on Saturday afternoon in Premier League.

According to GiveMeSports, some personals in Chelsea now feel like there’s some other issues beyond the managerial defaults around the club. It’s understood that there is some buzz around Cobham since Lampard returned to work at Stamford Bridge. The report further adds that some at Chelsea thinks the 44-year-old has grown since he was sacked by the club back in 2021.

But in reality, there not much change in Lampard’s tactics as the club is still suffering from bad form. The Former English midfielder may have another sacking on his CV, which seems to be fortune for most of the manage. But he would have gained lots of experience from in charge at Everton. He will now look to change his fortune in England.

He can help Chelsea with his short-stint at the club, as it will give him chance to prove himself back.

However, Journalist Ben Jacobs reports Chelsea will appoint their next permanent manager by May. Chelsea heirarchy will now again have to make major decisions. But there reputation of hiring and firing managers at rapid pace is not helping the Blues at all.

Todd Boehly and Co. have already fired Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter in last 12 months. Chelsea future looks cloudy at this moment.
