South Africa skipper Miller credits bowlers for an easy win against England

Coming to bat first South Africa put a huge score on the board against England. With the likes of Rilee Rossouw and Reeza Hendricks, South Africa scored 207 by loosing just 3 wickets. While Hendricks scored 53 runs from 32 balls, Rossouw stayed not out smashing 96 of 55 balls. England bowlers couldn’t manage anything with the ball. Richard Gleeson, Chris Jordan and Spinner Moeen Ali could bag one wicket each. Meanwhile, an issue arose regarding the soft signal issue while Rossouw was batting.

While coming to bat, England posed no threat at all. While chasimg 208 runs, they lost 5 wickets much before crossing 100 runs. Though small contributions came, it wasn’t enough seal the match. Skipper Jos Buttler (29), Moeen Ali (28) and Jonny Bairstow (30) were the top scorers for England. England got bundled out within 149. Tabraiz Shamsi was the best one with the ball. He bagged 3 wickets by giving 27 runs in 4 overs.

Rossouw earned the MoM title for South Africa against England

England won the first match by a huge margin of 41 runs. It won’t be wrong to say that the Proteas took a sweet revenge of it. However, one cannot deny the fact that South African batters tried hard to breach the target. Trystan Stubbs who scored a eye-catchy 72 of 28 balls was the showstopper. Reeza Hendricks was quite consistent in both the innings. Not only the 2nd match, but also in the first one, Reeza gifted 57 runs in 33 balls.The blistering performance of Rossouw in the secind innings earned him the man of the match award.
