Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim says his player is affected by interest from Chelsea and other clubs. The Lisbon manager believes Viktor Gyokeres is affected by interest of Chelsea. Viktor is reportedly on a rumour for a move to Premier League. Moreover, the Evening Standard claims that Chelsea have the 25-year old on their shortlist. Besides this, Ruben Amiron has now himself said that the claims regarding the speculations of Viktor aee affecting him.

Gyokeres is having a remarkable season so far. He is leading his team by scoring 10 goals in 13 games. It will not be easy to take him out of Portugal. Though, Sporting have a €100m release clause for the player if a club wants him. Amorin claims suggesting the links with the Blues are affecting the striker is worth a thought. He said,

I think he’s improved the team, the fans like him a lot. We have to look at the other side: today there’s talk that Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in him. He was in England, right next to them, in the Championship. Sporting have improved Gyokeres and Gyokeres has improved Sporting, he’s brought a new energy.

[Interest from other clubs] It affects all players, I can feel it sometimes in [Goncalo] Inacio, I can feel it in other players and Viktor is no exception.”

However, it does not seem much serious as of now but will be a surprise if Chelsea go for him. Victor Osimhen is the man Chelsea are most probably looking as their target. Players like Gyokeres will be in the list owing to a failure of Osimhen deal. The Nigerian continues to impress in Italy despite lonks of dispute with the club. He now has seven league goals in 12 appearances for the defending champions.
