Controversial Call to Adjudge Pooja Vastrakar Run Out
During the opening match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2022 between India vs Sri Lanka, a controversial call was taken by the Third Umpire to make Pooja Vastrakar run out. The tv umpire while checking the runout, it was displayed on the big screen clearly that the bat was in the line when the bail was taken off. The fielders were also convinced and everyone took their positions for the next delivery. But the big screen displayed the shocking result that is “OUT“.

That’ is such a poor decision by the third umpire ! Should have given pooja vastrakar benefit of doubt!!”
India posted a total of 150 on board at the end of the innings. India lost in openers in very quick succession. But the skipper Harmanpreet and Jemminah stitched a good 92 runs partnership and make the team reach a respectable total.
