Earlier this year, Suresh Raina, went unsold at the Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction. On Tuesday, Suresh Raina took his social media handle to declare his retirement from all format of cricket. Therefore, this may open his doors in the different T20 leagues throughout the World.
On Tuesday, Suresh Raina took his twitter handle to announce his retirement. He tweeted,
“It has been an absolute honour to represent my country & state UP. I would like to announce my retirement from all formats of Cricket. I would like to thank @BCCI, @UPCACricket, @ChennaiIPL, @ShuklaRajiv sir & all my fans for their support and unwavering faith in my abilities 🇮🇳

Suresh Raina will play Road Safety Series and other T-20 Leagues
For the past one year, Suresh Raina has been training at Ghaziabad’s RPL cricket ground. He said,
“I will play in the Road Safety Series. T20 franchises from South Africa, Sri Lanka and UAE have contacted me but I am yet to take any decision.”

Raina had bid adieu to international cricket almost within an hour of announcing his retirement. It was on 2020’s 15th August. . Raina, however, was a member in the 2011’s World Cup-winning team, led by Dhoni.
Raina represented India for at least 13 years. He featured himself in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20Is. He moreover got the honour to lead the Indian team for a short time. Raina bagged 5615 runs from 226 ODIs he played. He moreover scored 1605 runs from 78 T20Is he played for India. Raina, however, hit his debut ton in Tests. He, moreover, is the first Indian to secure centuries in all three formats of cricket. All his centuries came on fields outside India.
