Takehiro Tomiyasu shared what his Arsenal teammates told him after the Manchester City match. Takehiro Tomiyasu had made a crucial mistake in the match against Manchester City. Furthermore, this resulted in a loss for the Arsenal team. The Japanese player had made a surprising start in the dramatic match against Manchester City. However, he had been an unused substitute in Arsenal’s previous matches. But the Arsenal manager surprised everyone by picking Takehiro Tomiyasu over Ben White in the match. It was unfortunate for the Gunners that they lost the match. It was Tomiyasu who made a costly mistake that allowed City to open up the score line. His poor back pass allowed De Bruyne to score the first goal of the evening. It was a rookie mistake by the Japanese player who was well-used by Kevin De Bruyne.

“We are a young squad and I feel like I’m part of the family,”

He further went on,

 “I remember the game against Man City at home I made a mistake and I gave them the first goal, but after that everyone came to me and just told me to keep my head up. They helped me a lot.”

The Gunners have been a beast this season. They all have responded really well to mistakes this season. The mistake by Takehiro Tomiyasu was not heavily criticized by the fans either. Furthermore the same happened to William Saliba as well.

The Gunners have responded well to all the setbacks they have faced this season. But even with a mistake made against Manchester City, Takehiro Tomiyasu had been an important player for the Arsenal side.
