As per reports, FC Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero left Camp Nou after suffering chest pains. The player complained about breathing issues in their game against Alaves on Saturday.

The 33-yrs-old forward left the stadium in an ambulance after having difficulty breathing during the game. Aguero appeared to be struggling to breathe as he held his chest, but the striker was able to walk off the field despite a stretcher being called.

According to journalist Jose Alvarez Haya, Aguero is ‘fine’ but will undergo tests at the hospital. After signaling for a substitution, the Argentine was seen lying on the pitch holding his chest.

Sergio Aguero in stable condition after dreaded exit from the Camp Nou

The former Manchester City star is one of the top players of all time having broken many records in his career. After spending a decade at City, Aguero is the 4th highest goal scorer in the Premier League with 184. Before his exit, he scored a brace against Everton and broke another record. He now holds the record of most goals for a single club in the Premier League.

At the Etihad he has lifted the PL title five times. Apart from that he also won six EFL Cup titles and two FA Cups. Not just City, but at Atletico Madrid he has won the Europa League and the Super cup.

For Argentina, the 33-yrs-old has 41 goals and 19 assists in 101 appearances and also won the 2020/21 Copa America.

However, in recent years Aguero has been a subject to a lot of injuries. He missed almost the whole of 19/20 and 20/21 season at City due to multiple injuries, knocks and Covid-19.

He has been struggling to stay fit and cope up with the issues. His absence keeps contributing to his lack of match fitness and against Alaves, it took a toll on him. Even though his first start for Barca did not go as planned, Aguero will be back stronger.

On the bright side, he already scored his first goal for Blaugrana on his debut against rivals Real Madrid in the El Clasico last weekend.
