Thiago was spotted training alone, away from his teammates

Liverpool

Liverpool midfield maestro, Thiago Alcantara was spotted training alone, away from the main group on Friday.

As per the Liverpool Echo report, Thiago went through an individual session as his teammates prepares to face Everton on Tuesday.

The Spaniard was reportedly working on a “tailored regime” ahead of the Merseyside derby. He is expects to rejoin the main group later this week.

However, Thiago being absent can be crucial for the Reds as he is still an important player in the team. The 31-year-old has a lot of experience under his belt and his pass distribution is often termed as “unbelievable”.

THIAGO TAKES A BREAK

It was quite evident that Thiago would have be out of this Liverpool team. The Spanish International has been out of form lately.

Despite that, Thiago has been out of Klopp’s firing line. There has also been rumors that he doesn’t fit into Liverpool’s style of play and former Englishman Gabriel Agbonlahor suggested that the Liverpool star is no longer playing for Jurgen Klopp.

But the former Bayern player has been out of the harsh criticism his current teammates received for their poor form this season.

In a certain way, it’s fair enough to suggest that the Veteran is still Liverpool’s best midfielder. As Paul Merson suggested earlier this season, he is still an “unbelievable” footballer.

But Thiago has also been sloppy sometimes, leaving his team in danger.

So perhaps a game or two out of the team sheets could help both Liverpool and the player himself.

Thiago’s age has also been very crucial for his development as the Spaniard is turning 32 in April. Having started the last 11 games of Liverpool, he surely needs time to rest.

But Liverpool has already struggled with their midfield this season and without Thiago’s enigmatic presence in the middle, the Reds might worsen their case.
