Timber’s brother Instagram post causes chaos same way as Havertz

Jurrien Timber’s brother Instagram post causes chaos as Arsenal are expected to officially announce the signing this week.

Over excited Timber’s brother posted on the social media about his brother move to the Emirates this summer. But that probably shouldn’t have seen the light of the day.

Manager Mikel Arteta has been long admirer of the Dutchman and he will finally arrive at the North-London club this week. Gunners have already signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea and their long-term target Declan Rice is just whiskers away from the joining the club.

United boss Eric Ten Hag wanted Timber at the Old Trafford last summer. But now it appears that Arteta has finally got his man for £40 million.

Meanwhile Arsenal’s social media team is working hard to storyboard announcement ideas and put the pieces in place for a shot at the viral moment. However that will not be the case for Timber’s announcement.

Timber’s brother Shamier Timber Coffie posted on Instagram an image of Timber’s farewell party. In the photo, the full-back is seen wearing the red-white jersey. The caption reads :-

“Jurrien’s goodbye party. See you in the streets of London.”

Few weeks ago, the signing of Kai Havertz leaked online before the official announcement. This is utter disappointment at how transfer news broke. The German international took the social media to write :-

“I would have preferred for you to hear my thoughts on leaving Chelsea first from myself before my thoughts on me joining my new team. This isn’t my style.

“Today, I find myself at a crossroads, where words can’t describe the emotions I’m feeling. It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter, saying goodbye to the club that has become my second home, and to the incredible fans who have supported me throughout this amazing journey.”
