Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly was not all convinced by the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The Athletic claimed that the American owner didn’t see the striker fitting in his current project at Chelsea in terms of wage imposition and age.

But with season progressing, Aubameyang’s fortune has also been diminished. The striker have been excluded for Chelsea’s Champions League squad for the knockout stages.

However he scored twice in the Group stages of the competition.

Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk and João Felix were all signed in January to bolster Chelsea’s attack, which meant decrease game time for Aubameyang.

AUBAMEYANG WANTS TO MOVE AWAY FROM CHELSEA

The former Barcelona player was rumours to move away from England just months after joining, with MLS looks as a possible destination in coming months. Aubameyang looks eager to perform and will find another club for more game time.

According to reports, PSG are currently monitoring his situation and could make an attempt to sign him in summer. The French club wanted to sign the striker in 2017. But he stayed back in Dortmund but eventually joined Arsenal the following year.

After Graham Potter’s arrival at Stanford Bridge, the manager opted for Kai Havertz at No.9 instead of Aubameyang. The Gabonese international has fallen out with his current boss.

But Blues have still struggled to score goals in recent times. However, they will be hopeful that the inclusion of new players can sort out the issue.
